Article Comments are posted to encourage the open discussion of public issues affecting the communities of the Pioneer Valley and surrounding areas. While we cannot actively monitor the contents of individual postings, we request that all visitors limit their remarks to areas of public interest and to refrain from using the names of private citizens not in the public eye.

While we do not regularly monitor the discussion areas, we encourage visitors to contact us about any posting they find objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any posting for any reason. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

To discourage abuse, we have enabled a system that allows us to track individual users submitting posts to the article comment feature. Many Hands reserves the right to ban access to any computer violating this terms-of-use policy. Many Hands will not release tracking information except under a court order.

Messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Many Hands. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
Readers who find an objectionable posting are encouraged to report it to the ManyHands.com Publisher.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the Article Comment feature to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by Many Hands.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Gazette with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

As a condition of access to this site, you also agree to hold Many Hands harmless for any posting made by others.

Please note that advertisements, political endorsements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate article comments.
